We finally have all the answers we’ve been waiting for in Freeform’s The Watchful Eye season finale! We finally get the truth about Allie, who’s been stalking Elena, and so much more! ‘Hale Fellow Well Met’ was written by Emily Fox and directed by Jeffrey Reiner.
Collateral Damage | The finale kicks off with Matthew’s (Warrren Christie) arrest for the murder of Allie (Emily Tennant). Elena (Mariel Molino) quickly goes to see Tory (Amy Acker) and is surprised to see Dick (Christopher Redman), Otis (Aaron Douglas), and Mrs. Ivey (Kelly Bishop) there as well. When the lawyer Victor Marcato arrives Mrs. Ivey uses the opportunity to quietly tell Elena she can’t possibly get the $5 million today, Elena will have to wait. Teo (Joaquin Obradors) calls Elena and wants to meet her for breakfast, and she agrees. But when she gets there it isn’t Teo that she meets, but her mother Ronnie (Jacqueline Obradors). Ronnie wants half the money Elena is going to get from Mrs. Ivey, or she’s going to take and keep Teo away from her. Elena begrudgingly agrees.
Elena is later able to visit Matthew at the police station and he continues to plead his innocence. Scott (Jon-Michael Ecker) watches the interaction and confronts Elena afterwards about everything that’s been going on.
The James of it all | Elena ends up kidnapped and wakes up in James’ apartment and can hear Alex (Baraka Rahmani) locked away in the bathroom. James (Lachlan Quarmby) has a gun, but he’s willing to give up some answers before killing Elena. He admits to working for the Greybourne’s and getting rid of Morgan (but not killing her, she’s apparently fine). Ginny (Aliyah Royale) and Roman (Andres Velez) break in and knock the gun away from James, allowing Elena to get it and get the rest of the answers she needs from him. Mrs. Ivey is the one who ordered Allie be killed, and now Elena as well.

A Favor | Elena takes her information to Tory and sells it to her for $5 million, but she needs to get Ruby’s birth certificate. Scott figures out that Elena has the birth certificate and steals it from her. He wants the money and the deal with Ronnie.
Thanks to Elliott (Lex Lumpkin) we find out the truth about Darcy (Megan Best), and that’s that she is evil! She helped make it look like Allie committed suicide by foraging the note left behind.
Elena and Jasper (Henry Samiri) have a super sweet moment and Elena briefly sees Allie standing behind him and smiling, she must be proud that the truth is coming out.
Tory first gets the truth from Ivey, who admits that Dick was the one who actually killed her sister. Jocelyn (Elyse Maloway) is completely ashamed of what Ivey has done and how she’s rejected the truth. But Tory won’t be rejecting any truth, instead she confronts Dick. She makes him a poisonous smoothie and almost kills him when he admits the truth that Allie wasn’t supposed to die, it was a terrible accident that he had to cover up. He also killed the doorman and left Elena the joint, which he laced. Because he doesn’t regret what he did, Tory kills her husband with a pair of scissors. Elena finds her standing over her husbands body, and the episode ends. What a crazy finale!!!
