Hallmark Channel released the official episode description for the Season 2 premiere of The Way Home, which you can check out below. The installment, titled “The Space Between,” is described as follows:
Kat has an epiphany and excitedly tells Del she thinks she knows what happened to Jacob, but her declaration isn’t met with the excitement she hoped. After swearing off time travel for seven months, the pond calls to Kat and Alice once again, though with unexpected results that set mother and daughter on distinct paths in the past.
After leaving Port Haven once all the predictions had manifested, Elliot returns from his travels abroad but the status of his relationships with Kat and Alice are influx. News of the death of Evelyn Goodwin, the town’s oldest resident and member of the founding family, brings back painful memories for Kat and Del but what she leaves behind in her estate sparks the start of a new mystery.
The Way Home, “The Space Between,” was written by Alexandra Clarke and directed by Grant Harvey. The episode airs Sunday, January 21 at 9/8c on Hallmark Channel.
