Based on the DC characters, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow is produced by Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television, with executive producers Greg Berlanti (Batwoman, The Flash, Supergirl, Black Lightning, Riverdale), Phil Klemmer (Chuck, Political Animals), Keto Shimizu (Arrow), Grainne Godfree (The Flash, Arrow) and Sarah Schechter (Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Black Lightning, Riverdale).

Season 6 Recap: Season 6 of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow was a wild ride for our favorite band of misfit time travelers. Sara Lance (Caity Lotz) was separated from the majority of her team for the first half of the season while she was cloned and dealt with space aliens. One of those space aliens being Gary (Adam Tsekhman).

Ava was going to propose to Sara the night she got taken, and had to deal with the devastating heartbreak of thinking her love might be dead. Zari 2.0 (Tala Ashe) and Behrad (Shayan Sobhain) spent the first half of the season fighting over their family totem, then they each got their own and really came into themselves by the end of the season. Zari 2.0 has a questionable romance with Constantine until his quest for the Fountain on Youth leads him to some heavy consequences.

OG Zari (Tala Ashe) and Nate (Nick Zano) get to spend some romantic moments together, including a disastrous camping trip.

We have a few new faces on board the Waverider this season; Astra (Olivia Swann), Spooner (Lisseth Chavez), and Kayla (Aliyah O’Brien). We all know Astra, but this season we see a new, mortal side of her. Spooner has some sort of weird connection to aliens and can help track them down, which is super handy when your Captain has been captured by some. The two become unlikely friends. Then there is, Kayla is an actual alien, who gets Mick Rory (Dominic Purcell) pregnant. She’s not often around, but when she is you know there’s going to be trouble.

The season ends with a beautiful wedding between Sara and Ava. It may have been planned quickly and during a potential alien invasion, but it was still wonderful.

Season 6 Review: Season 6 of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow was everything I was hoping it would be. It was filled with new bad guys and threats to the timeline, it was hilarious, and it had a wonderful wedding! I wish we got more of the OG Zari and maybe a little less of Zari 2.0 and Constantine, but I’m happy with how it ended for all of them.

It was rough having Sara Lance separated for the first half of the season, but her reunion with her team and Ava was well worth the wait.

I’m glad that Mick Rory is going to be a father again, but also that he’s been able to maintain his relationship with his daughter and bond with her throughout his pregnancy.
