“In our show, ‘The Lunch Hour’ is a talk show and the world of The Lunch Hour will offer a slice of life of what it’s like to be in front of the camera and even more juiciness and excitement behind the lens,” says Vanessa Williams.
“You deal with loss, you deal with jealousy, you deal with death, you deal with mystery, you deal with consequences,” she continues. “And that is all tied up in The Lunch Hour and the makings of making a show.”

Being a show about five women with power struggles and cocktails, it’s easy to assume its target audience. But Camille Guaty says the show will interest the masses!
“This show is so juicy!” says Guaty. “Originally, I [said to myself] this show [is only] going to appeal to women, but no. There’s so much going on! There’s so much story that’s happening with these characters. I’m having so much fun every time I open up a script and see what’s coming next.”

Every weekday at noon, Maxine (Vanessa Williams), Mo (Tichina Arnold), Heather (Fiona Gubelmann), Kibby (Chloe Bridges), and Nina (Camille Guaty)—hosts of “The Lunch Hour,” the long-running women’s talk show—gather around the table to discuss life, love, politics, and juicy gossip.
But behind the scenes, it’s even juicier — a backstage world filled with power struggles, diva fits, and steamy affairs. Inspired by the book Satan’s Sisters… A Novel of Fiction by Star Jones, television personality, lawyer and journalist.
The 10-episode first season of Daytime Divas premieres Monday, June 5, at 10pm on VH1.
