Everything that has been kept hush hush all comes out in the open in tonight’s episode of The Carrie Diaries. Secrets are finally revealed, Carrie experiences a couple of firsts, and Mr. Bradshaw finally goes out on a date!
Populr screened tonight’s outing in advance and below we’ve provided a few details to help get you stoked for the episode.
A COMPLICATED BREAKUP | Sebastian and Donna’s relationship comes to an end. “I think we both know this was fizzling out,” Donna tells him while eating fries at the diner. Though there are no hard feelings on both sides, Donna has some break-up terms that Sebastian must follow and Donna always gets her way. Term 1: Sebastian must keep their break-up a secret until after the junior-senior lock-in so that the night won’t be a pity party. Term 2: Donna’s version of the break-up she will be telling people is that she’s the one who broke up with Sebastian.
CARRIE’S FIRSTS | Carrie plays foot model as her feet are photographed wearing Manolo Blahniks for Interview Magazine. After the shoot, Larissa gifts the shoes to Carrie, her first pair of Manolo Blahnik’s. She’s given this pair to wear at Limelight, a nightclub where she also gets a taste of a very first Cosmopolitan! “It’s so pretty! I think this is going to be my drink!” she says.
GRAND GESTURES | Sebastian and Mouse ditch the lock-in to go on an adventure in Manhattan to track down Carrie and confess his feelings for her. “That’s like the grandest grand gesture ever,” Maggie tells Sebastian. It’s sad that we see how much of a romantic Mouse is and how she’s sworn off relationships to focus on her education.
DOUBLE DATE | Instead of being home alone on the couch with a giant bag of cheese doodles, Tom decides to go on a double date with Harlan. Tom was hesitant at first but later glad he decided to go back into the dating game. After many run-in’s with available, interested women at the market and nearly running over another at the parking lot, it’s nice to finally see Mr. Bradshaw moving on and having a pleasant time on a date.
CARRIE’S AGE IS REVEALED | Carrie’s night at Limelight is turned upside down and her young age of 16 is finally revealed to Larissa. How will Larissa react? Will she accept and embrace it or will she be upset that Carrie kept this secret from her for so long?
There are a few other spoilers in the episode which we are not allowed to reveal, but I will say that one of them had me screaming out loud in shock.
