The 100 reunion was this week and boy was it bittersweet! A mother and a daughter. Friends. Foes, old and new. But not everyone.
Clarke is reunited with her mother, Dr. Abigail! Yes! Finally! As well as many of the 100. Except Finn and Murphy are still out there looking for Clarke. The plan? According to Abby. Gather intel on Mt. Weather and hope for the best for Finn and Murphy since there’s not enough man power to save them.
Clarke, Bellamy, and Octavia aren’t having any of that! Love the power dynamic between Clarke and her mother by the way. Clarke and her friends set out to save Finn and Murphy themselves, after Abby specifically tells them not to. With a little help from Raven. They escape with a plan to find Find and Murphy first, then head to Mt. Weather for the rest of the gang.
Speaking of…Finn and Murphy create a distraction, burning the grounders’ food but are caught trespassing and demand to have a look around for their friends. Finn finds the clothes of his friends but Murphy reminds Finn that these people are scavengers and their friends could still be alive. Murphy urges them to go but Finn begins shooting. It’s quite a massacre Finn is responsible for. At the sound of the shooting, Clarke, Bellamy, and Octavia run and find Finn and Murphy. Finn is happy that he found Clarke. Clarke shakes her head, with a concern of “What did you do?”
Meanwhile, at Mt. Weather, Jasper is told that Clarke ran away and he doesn’t buy it. The President of Mt. Weather is ready to let Jasper go, claiming he’d let him back in if he came back. Uh huh. Monty is ready to go but as he’s packing his things, a radiation containment breach almost kills Maya. Jasper gets bamboozled by the Mt. Weather docs into volunteering to be used to save Maya. Monty is NOT impressed.
He warns Jasper against the transfusion but Jasper doesn’t listen. When Jasper gets high off the transfusion, the doctor says it’s normal but Monty asks if she’s never done it before, why she would say something like that. The shady doctor corrects herself and says, “It’s to be expected.” Mmm mmm. At that, Monty takes a seat after the doc tries to shoo him away. Go, Monty! All is well for awhile. But we’re left with an image of Maya healed and Jasper throwing up. Hmm. Do you think Jasper is okay?
It’s worth mentioning that the doctor disobeyed an order not to experiment on the kids. She went around the President to use Jasper but if I were the President, I’d be more worried about the head of security than the doctor. He was awfully shady this week, torturing grounders. What do you think?
Also, we can’t forget one little detail. Councillor Kane did try to hand over a grounder but instead became their prisoner…and found none other than Chancellor Jaha imprisoned too. Wow! Reunions all around! Which was your favorite one?
