In one of the most suspenseful episodes of MTV’s hit series Teen Wolf, titled “Weaponized,” Stiles was caught betraying Malia when she discovers that her name on the dead pool reads “Malia Hale,” a secret he had been keeping from her for a while now.
But was Malia more upset that Stiles withheld that information from her or the fact that Peter is her father?
“She just found out her dad is not her dad,” Hennig says on Wolf Watch. She’s so attached to Stiles. He’s really helped her transform into this new life as a human. Coyotes are very faithful to their pack, so I’m sure she was really, really let down.”
“He was protecting her,” Dylan O’Brien explains of why Stiles lied to her. “He was doing what he thought was protecting her and obviously it turned out horribly. He knows that [Peter is] bad news and naturally if she finds out that he’s the father, she’s going to want to have a relationship with him. He doesn’t want her to go. He wants her all to himself.”
Teen Wolf airs Mondays at 10pm on MTV.
