Teen Wolf fans got a small taste of how Deputy Parrish fits into the supernatural world. In the latest episode “Perishable,” he is burned alive by a fellow deputy in the hopes of collecting a big paycheck. Presumed dead, however, he returns to the sheriff’s office naked and covered in ash to get his vengeance.
So with his return from the dead, what kind of supernatural creature could he be? Teen Wolf creator Jeff Davis is keeping mum for now. “I think a lot of people will want to know, including Ryan Kelley, the actor playing Deputy Parish,” Davis shared on Wolf Watch.
“Nobody knows,” he continues. “We keep a lot of secrets and often times we keep secrets from the actors. I will say it’s very interesting whether he’s impervious to all things, or just impervious to fire, or whether it’s something else. We’ll leave that up in the air.”
One of the big revelations from the episode was that not only is Meredith alive, but she’s also the Benefactor! “It’s hard to be shocked anymore on Teen Wolf,” Tyler Posey said of the big twist. “You get so desensitized to shock,” he said after seasons of big twists.
“I knew it was going to be crazy. I knew it was going to be somebody completely unexpected, so when I read that I was like, ‘Yeah.'”
Teen Wolf airs Mondays at 10pm on MTV.
