Teen Wolf fans discovered recently that it was Meredith who was behind the dead pool. When her portrayer, Maya Eshet, appeared on the post-show talk show Wolf Watch, she defends Meredith’s actions.
“She believes she’s doing something good, oddly enough,” she says.
Keeping her involvement with the deadpool a secret was no easy feat for the actress saying that withholding that information from the cast was the hardest. “I’ve been asked questions [by the cast] and I’m like, ‘I have no idea.'”
As for when the producers and writers informed her that she was the Benefactor, she says that though she didn’t know far in advance, she did have a bit of an advantage. “I knew pretty late, but before everyone else — like a week before.”
“I didn’t find out that I was the bad guy until the morning I read the script,” Ian Bohen (Peter Hale) added. “I fought for Peter to be good. I wanted it so badly and they were like, ‘Are you crazy?’ They never ever, ever saw that happening.”
