Teen Wolf Recap: Field of Screams

The hunt for the assassins targeting the supernaturals in Beacon Hills intensifies as the names on the dead pool slowly but surely dwindle down. Let’s take a look at what happened during the Teen Wolf episode 405 “I.E.D.,” shall we?

TELEPHONE | After hours and hours of Lydia (Holland Roden) coming up empty with trying to find the key to decode the second of three hit lists, she enlists the help of fellow Banshee Meredith (Maya Eshet). They hand the Eichen House patient a cell phone and when asked if she’s going to answer the phone, “It’s not ringing,” she replies (haha!). She gives Lydia and Malia (Shelley Hennig) a series of numbers, which is six short of a telephone number. Malia suggests that the four-digit number is a code in itself which actually spells out the key using the corresponding letters on a telephone keypad. They crack the code and are shocked to find Deputy Jordan Parrish (Ryan Kelley) on the list! WHAT?! HE’S A SUPERNATURAL?! Did not see that coming!

BATTLEFIELD | It’s so not a good day to be Liam (Dylan Sprayberry). Not only is the Beacon Hills High lacrosse team playing against his former high school, Devenford Prep, but he’s also the next target on the dead pool! Liam has some bad blood with his former high school after being expelled for anger issues and for completely totaling their coach’s car. The new werewolf tries to maintain his composure under Scott’s (Tyler Posey) watchful eye, and after a brief run-in with one from their own team, they discover that Garrett (Mason Dye) is one of the assassins they’re looking for and that he’s after Liam! Later in the locker room, Scott finds Liam’s Devenford nemesis Brett (Cody Saintgnue) coming into consciousness after being attacked by Violet (Samantha Logan) and she slowly sneaks up on Scott and uses her little necklace weapon of death to decapitate him! But she doesn’t know that you don’t mess with an Alpha. Scott forcefully removes the band around his neck and knocks Violet out. Is she dead?!

BEST BITES

 • I’m still shocked that Deputy Hunkypants is on the supernaturals list! What kind of supernatural is he? Now he definitely needs to hook up with Lydia!

 • You know I love bad girls, so I’m hoping that Violet isn’t a goner.

 • How cute is it that Liam’s best friend Mason (Khylin Rambo) is into dudes and totally has eyes for Brett?
