Teen Wolf‘s third season is nearing it’s halfway point and with the mid-season finale looming, the episodes are beginning to ramp up on intense craziness. Last night’s episode titled “The Girl Who Knew Too Much” is one of our favorite episodes of the series and definitely one of the scariest. The twist at the end both shocked and saddened us at the same time. Let’s go over some of the stuff that went down.
Allison (Crystal Reed) and Isaac (Daniel Sharman) go through her father’s office and discover that he knows much more about the deaths going on in Beacon Hills than he is letting on. With the use of a black light, they see find secret markings on his desk that reveal all the groups the killer is targeting: Virgins, Warriors, Healers, Philosophers, Guardians. Mr. Argent (JR Bourne) has also marked on a map where all the deaths have happened so far, as well as markings of those yet to happen. Naturally, her father becomes suspect numero uno as the mysterious killer.
When Allison and Isaac determine the location of where one of their missing teachers might be, they head there and find a grotesque creature right behind their teacher. That’s when Mr. Argent comes out, guns blazing. Turns out, he’s been trying to track the killer for months but has been keeping it a secret from Allison.
After a deputy and a teacher is murdered, Scott tries to find a pattern so they can hopefully prevent the third from that group from being the next victim. The group being targeted is not Guardians as they had first suspected after the Deputy Tara Graeme’s (Mieko Hillman) death, but rather the Philosophers group as in teachers. Graeme used to be a teacher and now after their history teacher, there’s just one teacher left who will be sacrificed. But who will it be? Hopefully it won’t be Ms. Blake (Haley Webb) because we LOVE her and Derek (Tyler Hoechlin)! Luckily all the teachers are gathering at the school for a memorial concert so that’ll make it less hard for Scott and Co. to stop the killer from completing its task.
Lydia (Holland Roden) gets a text message from who she thinks is from one of the were-twins and goes into the school to meet up. Unfortunately, the message was sent by the killer who upon seeing Lydia, knocks her right to the ground. Turns out the killer is MRS. EFFING BLAKE!!! TWIST!!! We totally didn’t see that coming and that leaves us a bit heartbroken because we LOVED her relationship with Derek.
She ties Lydia down to a chair and after Lydia shrieks, Ms. Blake is surprised. “You have no idea what you are, do you?” She asks Lydia. “The wailing woman. A banshee right before my eyes.” So there it is, folks. Lydia is a banshee (What ever that is)! Stiles’ (Dylan O’Brien) father and Scott come to Lydia’s rescue but are no match for the incredible power Ms. Blake has. She flees the school through the classroom window with Sheriff Stilinski (Linden Ashby) in tow. Will he be her next victim?
