OMFGTV recently screened the first 4 episodes of Wynonna Earp‘s second season. And when we say screened them, we mean we watched over and over again, clapping and cheering in delight.
Wynonna Earp is the great-great granddaughter of famous gunslinger Wyatt Earp, and she’s also inherited his demon-killing curse. At the end of season 1 everything is going wrong, Wynonna killed her older sister, and Waverly touched the goo.
And now it is time for us to share with you a few spoiler-free things you have to look forward to from the first 4 episodes!
The Earp Sisters | The Earp sisters were the heart and soul of the soul in season one, and this season is no different! Wynonna (Melanie Scrofano) and Waverly (Dominique Provost-Chalkley) will hit you right in the feels with their dynamic sisterly bond. Though the sisters may not always see eye-to-eye, they will always do anything to protect each other.
Doc’s Sex Appeal | If you thought Doc Holliday (Tim Rozon) was attractive last season, then you’re in for a real treat! Doc has chemistry with just about everyone and everything, but the tension is stronger with a few others. Stache fans, be ready to swoon whenever Doc swaggers into view.
The Writing | Wynonna Earp became known for its witty one-liners, and that will continue this season. You’ll want to watch each episode more than once to catch them all! Emily Andras (Creator) and her team has an incredible way of telling perfectly balanced stories, weaving darkness and comedy together seamlessly. Be warned: if you scare easily you may want to watch some episodes with the lights on!

Dolls is Definitely…Something | Speculations of what Dolls (Shamier Anderson) may be have been flying around for about a year, and Earpers [fans of the show] are ready for answers! We won’t spoil whether or not you find out what he is, but we will say that you’re going to see more yellow eyes!
Rosita and Jeremy are Incredible Additions | Sometimes adding new characters to a show can upset the balance of the cast, but not this time! Rosita (Tamara Duarte) and Jeremy (Varun Saranga) are both great additions to the dynamic cast! Not only do they help diversify the cast, but they also positively add to the dynamic of the show!
WayHaught is Way Hot | WayHaught shippers will be delighted with the relationship as Waverly and Nicole (Katherine Barrell) navigate their way through this new part of their lives together. But, as Emily Andras stated as ClexaCon, “it’s not a real relationship if there aren’t challenges.” Being that Waverly touched the goo in the final moments of the season 1 finale, it’s safe to say their relationship will definitely be facing “challenges.”
The Acting | The casting in this show is so perfect, every actor is top-shelf! Prepare to be blown away by incredible performances by everyone, but especially Melanie and Dominique. These two take their acting to a whole new level this season, and we can’t wait to see more!
It Feels Like You Are Coming Home | The biggest reason for you to watch Wynonna Earp’s second season is because it truly does feel like you’re home. It doesn’t matter what’s going on in the real world, because for that hour you are in Purgatory kicking Revenant ass with your buddies. Season 2 takes the warm feeling season 1 gave you and multiplies it with the power of 1000 suns, making it impossible not to smile the entire way through.
