“Wynonna Earp” Exclusive: Showrunner Emily Andras Teases Emotional Finale

Wynonna Earp has faced many demons in her life, but none so formidable as the Demon Clootie. Now that the third seal has been broken, will Wynonna be able to stop the demon before giving birth?

OMFGTV jumped on the phone with Wynonna Earp Showrunner Emily Andras to tease what will happen in the Syfy series’ second season finale, ‘I Hope You Dance.’

“All the threads are finally coming together,” Emily tells us. She says there are many things that need to be addressed in the episode: “Wynonna is in labor. Third seal is broken. The Demon Clootie may rise. Bobo is now big with The Widows.” And don’t forget about Waverly! Andras says she still needs to “find out the truth about her parentage.”

The finale is definitely going to be a bumpy ride. Andras teases “some really interesting turns and betrayals and heroics.”

Emily Andras wants you to feel all the feels while watching this episode, and may we suggest you keep a box of tissues close by. “At the end of it I just want you to feel like you went on the most incredible, incredible, dehydrating journey–because you cried so hard and lost your voice because you cheered so much.”

We asked Emily if she could describe the episode in 3 words or short phrases. After some serious thinking she settled on “Blistering. Emotional. What the hell.”

Buckle up, Earpers, because you are in for one hell of a ride.

The Wynonna Earp finale airs Friday night at 10pm on Syfy, and trust us when we say you definitely won’t want to miss it!
