It’s a great day for Helsingers everywhere! NBCUniversal’s Syfy network on Tuesday has ordered a third season of vampire drama Van Helsing, which is expected to air in the fall of 2018.

“You know what I’m most excited about?” she asks. “I’m a fan of all the storylines. So I was thinking, ‘Oh, if we don’t get renewed, I want to know what [would have happened after the Season 2 finale]!’ So now I get to find out, and everyone gets to find out!”
“Van Helsing” stars Kelly Overton (“True Blood”) as Vanessa Van Helsing, a descendent of the Van Helsing lineage who must lead mankind against a world controlled by vampires in the post-Rising apocalypse.
