The alien invasion is just two weeks away and to help amp you up for the series premiere of Star-Crossed, The CW has released a short video of the show’s three leads — Aimee Teegarden, Matt Lanter, and Grey Damon — taken during last year’s San Diego Comic-Con of them answering fan questions.
In the video, the trio were asked questions such as what keepsake would they take from the set of the sci-fi drama as a souvenir, what their dream roles would be, and how would they react if they were to come face to face with an actual extra terrestrial.
One of the interesting takeaways from this video is that the Atrian language used in the show called Sondiv, was created from scratch. “What’s cool is that we actually do have an entire Atrian language that’s already been built,” Matt Lanter said. “By the guys who [created the languages on] Star Trek and Game of Thrones,” adds Grey Damon.
It’s a war of the worlds when an epic “Romeo and Juliet” romance ignites between a human girl and an alien boy, as he and others of his kind (Atrians), are integrated into a suburban high school after being banished for ten years. As this romance causes a violent encounter between their two families, can this couple’s love – and peace between the species – survive?
Don’t miss the Star-Crossed series premiere Monday, February 17, at 8|7c on The CW.
