It’s safe to say that no TV or movie experience is fully complete without a line-up of some seriously delicious candy. America’s favorite mouth puckering candy, Sour Jacks, just launched three NEW flavors: Lemonade, Wildberry & Green Apple that are all perfect to enjoy with any genre you prefer. Sour Jacks is not only introducing these exciting new flavors, but also upgrading the candy’s shape to the brand’s proprietary “WEDGE” shape.
With the holidays fast approaching, and a lot of television shows heading toward a winter hiatus, now is the perfect time to catch up, re-watch, and binge-watch our favorites before they make their return in 2016. Why not curl up in front of your TV with a bag or two of Sour Jacks?!
When the soft and chewy, mouth-puckering candy company reached out to OMFGTV, we jumped at the opportunity to gives these a try. We sampled three different flavors: Wildberry, Green Apple and Watermelon. And because we’re not selfish and we wanted to spread the love, I tasked my fellow colleagues at my work office to try all three and decide on their favorite.
I’m a berry guy, myself, so I was full-on ready and expecting to LOVE the Wildberry flavor. However, like most of the participants in our fun and sweet study, we surprisingly preferred Watermelon! The second favorite among the group was the Green Apple, and coming in last, was the Wildberry.
The general consensus was that the Watermelon Sour Jacks was the most sweet and sour and had the most flavor, while the Wildberry had little to none. We’ve included a pie chart above, because why not?
One of my colleagues enjoyed it so much, she said she could eat a whole bunch of them! “I’m so quoting you on that,” I told her.
What we love about Sour Jacks is that the name holds true: it’s sour! There’s another famous brand of candy also with “Sour” in its name that is really popular, but sour it isn’t.
And here’s the kicker: Not only are Sour Jacks deliciously chewy, sour and sweet, have a new wedge shape and come in refreshed packaging, but these tasty treats are fat free, gluten free and have no preservatives!
