Sony Pictures has dropped the first trailer for the latest action film from renowned action director David Leitch (“Atomic Blonde,” “Deadpool 2”)- “Bullet Train.” Starring Academy Award winners Brad Pitt (“Fight Club”) and Sandra Bullock (“The Blind Side”), as well as Brian Tyree Henry (“Eternals”), Aaron Taylor-Johnson (“Tenet”) and Michael Shannon (“Knives Out”), the action thriller releases exclusively in movie theaters on July 15.
Sony described the film as, “An original movie event, ‘Bullet Train’ is a fun delirious action-thriller… Brad Pitt headlines an ensemble cast of eclectic, diverse assassins- all with connecting, yet conflicting objectives- set against a backdrop of a nonstop ride through modern-day Japan.”
Set to a Japanese remix of the BeeGee’s classic, “Stayin’ Alive,” the trailer showcases lots of unique fight sequences, clever quips, and tons of cinematic flair- which can be expected from a David Leitch film. It seems Pitt will have his hands full when the film hits theaters.
