This week on She Hulk: Attorney At Law, Jen is invited to a wedding and runs into her arch enemy, while Nikki and Mallory team up on an ugly divorce case. And spoiler alert, still no Daredevil cameo. Sorry to disappoint!
Will You Be My Bridesmaid? | Jen (Tatiana Maslany) gets invited to her high school friend Lulu’s wedding and dons a dress made by her tailor Luke. She rolls up to the venue in She Hulk form, but Lulu (Pattie Harrison) immediately chastises her for upstaging her big day and demands that she change back to Jen form. Jen complies, but regrets it once Titania (Jameela Jamil) arrives at the wedding, claiming to be a friend of Lulu’s, but Jen is convinced that she’s only there to get revenge on her.
The B Plot | Back at the office, Nikki (Ginger Gonzaga) and Mallory (Renee Elise Goldsberry) are representing a man who cannot die in his divorce case, but turns out he’s been married dozens of times over the decades and has faked his own death every time to get out of each marriage Scott free. After numerous arguments between him and his former wives- and one husband- Nikki mediates and manages to talk him into settling his debts with each and every one of them.
Weddings Are a Magical Time | Jen is pretty much humiliated at the wedding when her groomsman turns out to be a very sick looking dog and she ends up shelling out tons of cash at the bar and gets a little tipsy. As she’s throwing up in the flowers, Titania decides now is the perfect time for revenge and beats the crap out of her, but Jen focuses enough to Hulk out and clobber Titania in the middle of the dance hall. What does Titania in, however, is the ice that she slips on and faceplants, breaking her teeth and causing her to storm out in embarrassment. Then, Lulu arrives, but is so drunk that she doesn’t care that Jen has just upstaged her.
Back at the office, Nikki and Mallory bond, which takes a dark turn when Nikki stumbles across a website full of hateful messages for She Hulk, including death threats. Mallory tells Nikki not to worry about it, but Nikki leaves a voicemail for Jen regardless telling her all about the site, as we then see a lab studying She Hulk footage and preparing a large needle…
