Tonight’s winter finale of “Agents of SHIELD” will feature a secret trailer for a mystery upcoming Marvel project.
Natalia Cordova, who plays Elena Rodriguez on the show, tweeted fans to “Make sure you watch the surprise teaser after the finale.”
Cordova did confirm that this surprise will NOT be the first trailer for “Spider-Man Homecoming,” slated to hit theaters next summer. She claimed the teaser is, “Something smaller, not seen before.”
This trailer could potentially be for an upcoming Marvel TV series, which narrows the field to “The Defenders,” “Runaways” or the recently announced “Inhumans” series. In any case, fans will find out during tonight’s episode, “The Laws of Inferno Dynamics.”
“Agents of SHIELD” airs Tuesday nights on ABC.
