Poor Grace can’t catch a break, can she?

Searchlight Pictures has dropped the first trailer for the sequel to 2019’s breakout horror hit, Ready Or Not 2: Here I Come. This time, Samara Weaving’s Grace is under attack from several rival families fighting for control of the Satanic cult that she escaped last time- only now, Grace’s sister Faith (Kathryn Newton, Freaky) is roped into the dangerous game.

Directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett AKA Radio Silence and written by the first film’s scribes of Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy, the sequel also adds to the cast Sarah Michelle Gellar  (Scooby-Doo), Elijah Wood (The Faculty), Kevin Durand (Abigail), Nestor Carbonell (The Dark Knight) and horror icon David Cronenberg (director of Scanners).

Searchlight’s synopsis reads: “Moments after surviving an all out attack from the Le Domas family, Grace discovers that she’s reached the next level of the game- and this time with her estranged sister Faith at her side. Grace has one chance to survive, keep her sister alive, and claim the High Seat of the Council that controls the world. Four rival families are hunting her for the throne and whoever wins rules it all.”

Ready Or Not 2: Here I Come hits theaters on April 10, 2026. Check out the trailer below and let us know your thoughts!
