Bradley Cooper Enters “Nightmare Alley” in Guillermo del Toro’s Latest, Check Out the Trailer!

It’s been five years since Guillermo del Toro released his last film, “The Shape of Water,” which won the famed director his first Academy Award. Based on the trailer for his next film, it looks like he’s going for another Oscar.

“Nightmare Alley” has finally dropped a first look trailer and it showcases gorgeous cinematography, a fascinating period setting, horrific, yet intriguing material, and most impressively, an all-star cast that includes Bradley Cooper, Willem Dafoe, Rooney Mara, Cate Blanchett, Richard Jenkins, David Strathairn and of course, Ron Perlman.

While plot details beyond the trailer are scarce for now, the official synopsis says, “An ambitious carny with a talent for manipulating people with a few well-chosen words hooks up with a dangerous female psychiatrist who is even more dangerous than he is.” From the looks of things, it seems Cooper and Blanchett will make a killer couple, potentially literally, but in true Guillermo del Toro fashion, there may be more to these villains than meets the eye.

The movie looks absolutely stunning and its cast could rival most Marvel movies. Guillermo’s track record speaks for itself and there’s a strong chance this could take home several Oscars come next year.
