The “Pretty Evil” Chanel Oberlin (Emma Roberts) shows off her beauty routine, in the new teaser for FOX’s horror-comedy anthology series Scream Queens.
She reaches for a stick of bubblegum, which has now become iconic to the show’s advertising, and when her bubble pops, a huge spray of blood splatters all over the mirror.
Disgusted, she removes the gum, takes one last look at herself in the mirror and smirks on her way out.
There’s is one little easter egg in the promo which is not-quite so hidden. It’s a blink-and-youll-miss-it moment as the teaser gives viewers a first look at the masked killer who’s rocking the campus with a series of murders.

The fifteen-episode first season of Scream Queens premieres this September on FOX.
