“Runaways” Nabs “Iron Fist” Writer for Hulu Series

Since Marvel announced a Hulu series based on the fan favorite comic Runaways, details have been fairly stagnant, however, it seems like the series is moving forward in a good way.

Tamara Becher, writer for the upcoming Netflix/Marvel series “Iron Fist,” has joined the writing staff of the series. Becher announced on Twitter that she will work on the series, tweeting a picture of a “Runaways” comic, writing, “New gig, day one.”

Becher is slated to make her Marvel writing debut with next year’s “Iron Fist” series for Netflix.

“Runaways,” based on the comic by Brian K. Vaughan, is being developed for Hulu by Josh Schwartz and  Stephanie Savage. No release date is confirmed for the series.
