As Shadyside Mall closes, an opportunity for a fresh kill opens.
Netflix has debuted a sneak peek of Fear Street Part 1: 1994, which you can check out below. The clip features the opening five minutes of film, which is part of the streamer’s horror trilogy, based on R.L. Stine’s best-selling horror series.
In the sneak peek below, Heather (Maya Hawke) closes up shop in the book store she works at, located inside of Shadyside Mall. While attending to her closing duties, some odd things begin to happen within the closed store.
Books begin to fall off shelves, and not too distant noises can be heard. This culminates with a masked stranger taunting her and stalking her within the mall. Will she survive? Probably not.
Fear Street Part 1: 1994 is officially described as follows: A circle of teenage friends accidentally encounter the ancient evil responsible for a series of brutal murders that have plagued their town for over 300 years. Welcome to Shadyside.
Fear Street Part 1: 1994 debuts July 2, and don’t miss the rest of the trilogy only on Netflix. Fear Street Part 2: 1978 will hit the streamer on Friday, July 9; Fear Street Part 3: 1666 will premiere Friday, July 16.
