Fans of Midnight, Texas will have to wait just a little bit longer until after the summer to reunite with the supernatural residents of the NBC series. The network announced on Sunday that in addition to landing a spot on the fall schedule, Season 2 will commence Fridays at 9pm after new episodes of Blindspot.
When we last saw Manfred Bernardo and gang, the town’s serial killer was identified, Olivia and Lemuel got hitched, and the hustle and bustle of a hotel renovation in the area have them all concerned that their secrets and safety may be in jeopardy. It all leads into book 2 of the series by Charlaine Harris.

As previously reported, Midnight, Texas Season 1 consulting producers Eric Charmelo and Nicole Snyder have been promoted to co-showrunners for the new season.
Also, cast members Sarah Ramos (Creek) and Yul Vazquez (Rev. Emilio Sheehan) will not be returning as series regulars, but may return in a smaller capacity.
