“Grimm” Female-Centric Spin-Off in the Works Could Possibly Focus on Trubel
Ever since NBC’s fan-favorite supernatural drama Grimm made its final bow in 2017, we’ve been hankering for a spin-off with Jacqueline Toboni’s character, Theresa “Trubel” Rubel.
With today’s news that a female-centric spin-off is in the works at the network, we’re left wondering if this is finally the show we’ve been waiting for!

According to Deadline, Grimm co-creators/showrunners David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf will return and serve as consulting producers, while Melissa Glenn (Marvel’s Iron Fist) executive produces.
“We always felt that Jacqueline should have her own spin-off,” Jim Kouf told OMFGTV in 2016. “We felt that from when we created her.”
It’s a spin-off that both Kouf and David Greenwalt have really been pushing for at the network. “We’re big fans of her,” they added. “[Trubel is] another great human.”
While it’s not official that the offshoot will focus on Toboni’s Trubel, there is a very good chance that it is considering what the showrunners of the original have told us.
Grimm, which ran for six seasons, starred David Giuntoli, Russell Hornsby, Bitsie Tulloch, Silas Weir Mitchell, Sasha Roiz, Reggie Lee, Bree Turner, Claire Coffee.
