The Final Chapter Will Be Grimm.
NBC on Friday released the first promo for the upcoming season of Grimm, which you can check out below. The supernatural series’ truncated final chapter is set to premiere in January and will consist of 13 episodes instead of the usual 22.
“Our final 13 episodes will pick up right where we left off (like you’d expect any different!) and continue the rivalry that has fueled “Grimm” since the beginning – Nick Burkhardt vs. Capt. Sean Renard,” Executive Producers David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf said in a statement.
“All of our characters will be fighting for what they believe in and deal with challenges in their own unique ways. The bond between Nick and Adalind will be tested as Eve deals with the side effects of the mysterious stick. The most complicated family dynamic continues to escalate as Adalind navigates parenting with Nick and Capt. Renard.
“Monroe and Rosalee think about their future in Portland now that their family will be growing. Wu will continue to battle his inner Wesen as he joins Hank to battle the Captain’s rising power. There is so much that will be packed into this season!”
Grimm, the final season, premieres Friday, January 6, at 8pm on NBC.
