If you’re suffering from MAJOR Grimm withdrawals just as we are, hopefully this bit of scoop will tide you over until its return in January.

“Our final 13 episodes will pick up right where we left off (like you’d expect any different!) and continue the rivalry that has fueled “Grimm” since the beginning – Nick Burkhardt vs. Capt. Sean Renard. All of our characters will be fighting for what they believe in and deal with challenges in their own unique ways. The bond between Nick and Adalind will be tested as Eve deals with the side effects of the mysterious stick. The most complicated family dynamic continues to escalate as Adalind navigates parenting with Nick and Capt. Renard. Monroe and Rosalee think about their future in Portland now that their family will be growing. Wu will continue to battle his inner Wesen as he joins Hank to battle the Captain’s rising power. There is so much that will be packed into this season!”
Additionally, the EPs reveal that Grimm‘s leading star David Giuntoli took on duties behind the camera, directing the upcoming season’s third episode, titled, “Oh Captain, My Captain.”
Of the episode, tentatively scheduled to air on Friday, January 20, Greenwalt and Kouf promises “the final result is PHENOMENAL and one of our most funny and entertaining episodes to date.”
Grimm, the final season, premieres Friday, January 6, at 8pm on NBC.
