One of the main burning questions NBC’s Grimm left viewers with last season was whether or not that was in fact Juliette Silverton we saw surface near the final moments of the finale.
Speaking with OMFGTV, actress Bitsie Tulloch sets the record straight. “That really was Eve,” she tells us. “Even though the wig had flown off, that was mainly Eve.”
Tulloch says that one of the main storylines that will get resolved during the supernatural drama’s final chapter is if Eve is getting her feelings and emotions back. If so, will those feelings be for Nick (David Giuntoli) or will she be feeling overwhelmed by guilt after the realization of all the havoc she has caused?

Wreaking havoc and causing mayhem is “more fun” for the actress, who says that out of the three characters she’s played — Juliette, Evil Juliette, Eve — she prefers playing the one who is “more layered and honestly a little bit on the dark side.”
“It’s more interesting,” she says. “Because Eve was pretty good — at least on the right team. When it was evil Juliette, I kind of had to catch myself from judging her because she was basically possessed and I had to [tell myself], ‘She’s possessed; she’s not really doing any of that stuff,’ but that was fun.”
While playing Juliette-with-a-twist was fun for Tulloch, she adds that Eve was “really cool” to play and says that wardrobe and the lot of wigs she wore were also fun and even saved her hair!

“I was telling Bree [Turner] and Claire [Coffee] that [last season] was probably the first year on the show where I wasn’t having my hair blow dried, straightened, and curled because all we had to do was slap a wig on.”
Playing Eve on Grimm may be fun and convenient on that regard, but she shares that getting into her character is definitely not easy.
“Eve has been the most challenging for me just because she’s so controlled,” she says. “I talk with my hands and I’m really expressive, so having to really rein it in and kind of communicate by not communicating was something I had to work on.” Studying Luc Besson’s Nikita and 2015’s Ex Machina was a big help preparing her for that role.

Eve is so powerful that it makes us laugh every time she uses that power to unlock a car door, instead of just blasting the door off completely like a bawse.
With all the fun Tulloch is having with how powerful Eve is, heading into the final season, she tells us that she doesn’t want her to lose her powers, adding, “but I do think that having a push/pull as far as her psyche is concerned from starting to feel guilt for everything she did — is she going to be jealous of Adalind and Nick? — all those emotions are going to be really fun to play.”
Grimm Season 6 premieres Friday, January 6, at 8pm on NBC.
