With the San Diego Comic-Con less than two months away, hundreds of cosplayers from around the world are finalizing their outrageous/awesome looks for the pop culture convention.
For those who are still scrambling around trying to meet the upcoming deadline and need a dash of inspiration or those who are curious about the world of cosplay, look no further than Myx’s Call to Cosplay, a first ever totally cosplay-based show where contestants race against the clock to design an ensemble based on a specific theme — think Syfy’s Face Off but for cosplay!
Tonight’s all-new installment features contestants who are tasked with cosplaying under the theme “beautiful women.” How will they fare?
In the two sneak peeks below, contestants Quinn and Shana race against the clock to create costumes of Marvel’s Mystique and Fairy Tail’s Ezra Scarlet, respectively.
“Call to Cosplay” combines the world of cosplay with all of the exciting elements of a competition design program. Each episode features two cosplayers competing for cash prizes. Contestants are assigned a theme, budget, mystery element and less than eight hours to create a costume.
