Get ready for what is sure to be MTV’s next big hit!
In anticipation for its series premiere on November 15 (after the season premiere of Teen Wolf), the network has made available the entire first act of Sweet/Vicious on YouTube, which you can check out below!
From Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, Stacey Sher and Amander Lasher, Sweet/Vicious is a hilarious dramedy that tackles serious issues. The premiere even opens with a disclaimer, which we believe may be a first for an MTV scripted series!
“This show contains a sexual assault scene that may be difficult for some viewers to see. Viewer discretion is advised.”
In addition to the first 10 minutes of the premiere, MTV has also made the first three episodes available to watch/binge on its website, MTV.com!
It’s a show we’ve been looking forward to ever since it was announced in 2015!
Starring Taylor Dearden (“Ophelia”) and Eliza Bennett (“Jules”), Sweet/Vicious is an offbeat superhero story for the millennial generation. Hell-bent on bringing justice to those who get away with abuse on their college campus, Jules and Ophelia take on double lives as wannabe vigilantes. Filled with clumsy attempts and missteps, the odd-couple pair of antiheroes must balance their new secret life with best friends, parents, love interests, and the metaphorical monsters under their beds.
At the core of the f*cked up, hilarious, heartbreaking world of Jules and Ophelia is the heart of the show: two girls, who never felt like they belonged, finding a home in each other… and trying to kick a lot of ass.
Sweet/Vicious premieres Tuesday, November 15th, at 10pm on MTV.
