Watch the Hotly-Anticipated, Fantasy Series Before its Television Premiere!
For those who weren’t lucky enough to attend the screening of The Shannara Chronicles this past summer at the San Diego Comic-Con, MTV and Sonar Entertainment is giving you another chance.
The teen-skewing network will offer twice-daily screenings of the event series’ first two episodes– but there’s a catch: You will need to be in Seattle to see it.
The Shannara Chronicles screenings will be held at Seattle Center’s leading-edge nonprofit museum, EMP, for 10 days starting December 21, at noon and 3pm.
In addition to the advance screenings held at the EMP’s JBL Theater, fans can enjoy an exclusive display of props from the show inside the Fantasy: Worlds of Myth and Magic exhibit hall.

Access to the first-look screenings and Fantasy exhibit hall come at no additional charge and is included with the regular price of admission. For more information and to save $3 on an adult ticket by purchasing online, visit the EMP Museum website.
So why is EMP the perfect venue for The Shannara Chronicles screening and exhibition? Not only is it located in Seattle, where Shannara creator Terry Brooks resides, but the EMP also sits next to the Seattle-famous landmark, the Space Needle! Why is that important? Check the inset image above from the show. Yup, that’s the Space Needle!
If you can’t make it to Seattle, don’t worry. The premiere is just a little over a month away!
The Shannara Chronicles premieres Tuesday, January 5 at 10pm on MTV.
