MTV has given fans of its slasher series six reasons to scream!
After much speculation on whether or not Scream would be returning after its special two-hour episode this coming Tuesday, the network on Friday announced that it has ordered an additional season.
Scream will likely resume sometime in 2017 with a total of 6 episodes, around half the amount of season 2 and just four episodes shy of its inaugural season.

No further details were released by MTV including any cast members, location or production start date. They are, however, looking for a new showrunner to helm the new chapter.
