MTV on Monday released an EPIC new promo for its upcoming freshman series Scream, set to premiere this summer.

The trailer for the television adaptation of the hit horror franchise brings together a whole bunch of MTV fan favorites from shows such as Teen Wolf and Awkward for a killer party to play victims who have been tortured and slaughtered.

The nearly 90-second promo shows the bloody aftermath followed by Scream cast members arriving to the party.

“Sounds dead in there,” Noah Foster (John Karna) says. Dead indeed!

After a cyber-bullying incident results in a brutal murder, the shocking violence stirs up memories of a killing spree from the past that has haunted some, intrigued others and maybe just inspired a new killer. A group of teens – with two old friends struggling to reconnect at its heart – become lovers, enemies, suspects, targets and victims of a killer who’s out for blood.

In addition to Karna, Scream stars Willa Fitzgerald as “Emma,” Bex Taylor-Klaus as “Audrey,” Carlson Young as “Brooke,” Amadeus Serafini as “Kieran,” Connor Weil as “Will,” Tracy Middendorf as “Maggie” and Jason Wiles as “Sheriff Hudson.”

Don’t miss the Scream series premiere June 30th on MTV.
