It’s finally happened, Switches, Raelle is back!!! On this week’s episode of Motherland: Fort Salem we see Raelle return and reunite with her best friends, we see Alder continue her pursuit of the First Song, and we find out who betrayed the Council to the Camarilla. ‘She Returns’ was written by Eli Edelson and Cherie Dimaline, and directed by David Frazee.

She’s Back | The episode kicks off with Raelle (Taylor Hickson) and Willa (Diana Pavlovska) having a nice picnic in a park. Willa tells her daughter that she’s all healed up and can leave if she wants, but that if she does the Mycelium can’t heal her again. Rae and Willa both know that Raelle needs to leave and get back to Scylla, and after a heartfelt goodbye Raelle does just that.

She returns amid some chaos, and is quickly reunited with Tally (Jessica Sutton) and Abigail (Ashley Nicole Williams). Unfortunately we do not get a Raylla reunion yet.

Madrid | Alder (Lyne Renée) travels to Madrid, Spain to visit a man named Santos (Paul Moniz De Sa). Santos is a former Camarilla Historian and a descendant of witch hunters, and Alder needs some of his knowledge on the First Song. He willingly tells her what she asks, the final two seeds no longer exist. She would have to find.a way to go back in time if she wanted to discover them. He gifts her a seed from one of the extinct lines before attempting to attack her. Let’s just say it doesn’t go so well for Santos.

Alder knows someone who can help her find those last 2 seeds, Tally. She goes to visit her in her room and tells her to start using her Sight to look into the past. This could stop the witchbomb and fix everything.

The Betrayal | Tally is brought to the Dodgers thanks to Scylla and her crow work, and the two of them begin to really bond. Tally uses her Sight to see that the Council is in danger, but they can help.

At the Council, Milly (Quelemia Sparrow) has been revealed to be the one who betrayed them to the Camarilla. She thinks they can give the Camarilla the Bellweather Unit and then they’ll be left alone, but we all know that is not going to happen now that the Treaty is broken. Instead, Tally and the Dodgers get there and Tally uses her Sight to spot the Special Forces coming their way. Scylla, disguised as Thelma (Olivia Lucas), leads the Special Forces away from the Council and gets captured. Raelle appears inside with Tally.

The Resistance | Anacostia (Demetria McKinney), Adil (Tony Giroux), and Abigail, AKA the A-Squad, are working together at the Cession border. They witness the wards drop and discover the armor the Camarilla Army leaders are wearing reflects their work back at them. Abigail decides to disobey her mother’s orders and stay with the Cession to fight with the Resistance. In fact, after giving a rousing speech to the Army Unit surrounding her, she renounces ties to the Military and joins the Resistance officially along with Adil.
