It’s been a busy day for Marvel: “Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness” tickets are now on sale- raise your hand if you got one- and now there’s a new episode of their hottest new series, Moon Knight, hitting Disney+. The latest episode, “Summon the Suit,” has Steven learning more about his alter ego and meeting a face that adds more questions to his pile.

Are You Alone? | Steven (Oscar Isaac) wakes up the next morning and goes to the museum, which was shut down due to the events of last night. He demands to see the security camera footage, which only shows him and not the monsters chasing him, which gets him in trouble with museum brass who demand that he hand over his name tag. Steven then gets the idea to track down the key he found in his apartment, which leads to a storage locker containing a bed and a bag full of cash, a gun, a passport with his photo and the name Marc Spector and the scarab that he stole from the village.

Meet Layla | To make things weirder, his reflection, Marc (Oscar Isaac), speaks to him and reveals that he is the avatar of the Egyptian moon god, Khonshu. Marc demands that Steven surrender control of his body, but Steven grabs the bag and flees to give himself up to the authorities. As soon as he leaves, he runs into a woman on a moped, who picks him up and not only reveals that she is Layla (May Calamawy), but also Marc’s wife. She refuses to believe Steven’s story, even after he takes her to his apartment, but gets angry at him when he shows her the scarab, since she’s been hunting for it for a long time. Then, the cops show up at the apartment, just as Layla scrams with the scarab, and they both arrest him when they find his passport.

Mr. Knight | The cops look up Marc and discover that he was a mercenary who executed workers at a dig site. They take him to Arthur (Ethan Hawke), who shows him around a neighborhood of his followers. Arthur tells Steven that he used to be the avatar for Khonshu, but now serves someone else. Arthur once again demands the scarab, saying that it can lead him to a tomb to resurrect his master, but Layla arrives with it and rescues Steven, as Arthur summons another monster that only Steven can see.

Steven tries to summon Moon Knight, but ends up in a white suit with the hood on and still Steven in control. He manages to punch the monster, but it continues to do damage, so Steven allows Marc to take control and summon Moon Knight. After killing the monster, Marc realizes that he has lost the scarab and Arthur has found it, which Layla witnesses. Steven, now trapped in the reflection demands control back, but Marc refuses. He says that he owes a debt to Khonshu and must complete it, or else Layla will be his replacement. Marc leaves Steven banished in the reflection and heads off to beat Arthur to the tomb and next we see him, he’s in a hotel in Egypt.
