The TVGuide Presents: Super Supernaturals panel at the 2011 San Diego Comic Con was definitely a treat for all who attended. It did not fail to delight and entertain.

One of the highlights of the panel was when panel moderator, TV Guide senior editor William Keck, noticed a similarity where characters in supernatural shows have all suffered a loss of a parent or other close relative.

When presented to the panelists the question as to why this was so, The Secret Circle’s Thomas Dekker voiced his theory which was immediately followed by a reply by Torchwood’s John Barrowman which left the audience cheering and in stitches.

Phoebe Tonkin looked confused as to why everyone was laughing and cheering. I think in Australia they say “poof”?
