“Runaways” Nabs “Nip/Tuck’s” Julian McMahon as Mysterious New Character

Marvel and Hulu’s new series “Runaways” has added a new face to the already impressive lineup.

Variety has learned that Australian actor Julian McMahon has joined the streaming series as Jonah, a new character whose origins and intentions are unknown, but he will play a role in the kids’s fight against their evil parents.

McMahon is best known for roles on shows like “Nip/Tuck” and “Dirk Gentley’s Holistic Detective Agency” He also played Victor Von Doom in the 2005 film version of “Fantastic Four”

“We’re incredibly excited to add Julian to our exceptional cast and we can’t wait to see what he brings to the world of Marvel’s ‘Runaways'” said executive producers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage in a statement.

“Runaways” also stars Rhenzy Feliz, Lyrica Okano, Virginia Gardner, Gregg Sulkin, Ariela Barer and Allegra Acosta.

The series premieres November 21 on Hulu.
