Marvel has finally released the cast of Hulu’s highly anticipated adaptation of “Runaways.”
Gregg Sulkin of “Faking It” will play Chase Stein, a high school heartthrob who most people associate as a dumb jock.
Allegra Acosta (“Just Add Magic”) will play Molly Hernandez, the youngest member of the team, who is known for her peppy personality.
Ariela Barer from “New Girl” is Gertrude Yorkes, a purple haired, bespectacled riot grrrl, who sometimes wields her persona as a brash social justice warrior to mask her true feelings.
Virginia Gardner from “Project Almanac” is starring as fan favorite Karolina Dean, a model perfect exterior with a lot going on behind her professionally whitened smile.
“The Affair’s” Lyrica Okano is Nico Minoru, who embodies teenage angst with her carefully crafted goth appearance.
Finally, Rhenzy Feliz of “Teen Wolf” will play Alex Wilder, a loud and proud nerd, who is a bit of a loner, but deep down, wants to regroup with his childhood friends.
Original comic creator Brian K. Vaughan, who will be a consultant on the series, spoke highly of the cast, saying, “I’m so excited for fans of the comic to watch this perfect cast of amazing actors, all of whom embody the spirit of their characters much more than I could ever have imagined.”
