“The Gifted” Shows Off Its Power In First Trailer

“The Gifted,” the latest superhero drama adapted from the “X-Men” comics, has just gotten a series order at Fox and a brief new trailer to boot.

The trailer shows off its young mutants using their powers to steal from a vending machine as well as other mysterious characters who could be from the “X-Men” lore.

“The Gifted” stars Amy Acker, Emma Dumont and Stephen Moyer. The series is created by “APB’s” Matt Nix and the pilot is being directed by “X-Men” director Bryan Singer.

A full, official trailer will be released on May 15.

“The Gifted” is slated to premiere on Fox sometime next fall.
