As if the cast of Netflix’s Marvel crossover series couldn’t get any bigger, the newest name to join the show’s ranks should make fans very happy.
Elodie Yung, who played Elektra Natchios in the second season of “Daredevil,” is returning for “The Defenders.” In the season finale of that show, Elektra’s fate was left up in the air, having been seemingly killed, but her grave was found empty.

Yung also starred in films such as “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” and “GI JOE: Retaliation.”
The current confirmed cast of “The Defenders” include Charlie Cox, Krysten Ritter, Mike Colter, Finn Jones, Carrie-Anne Moss, Eka Darville, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Rachael Taylor, Rosario Dawson, Scott Glenn, Sigourney Weaver and Simone Missick.
“The Defenders” is slated to hit Netflix in 2017.
