Despite skipping out on The CW Upfronts due to a high fever, Maggie Q managed to appear on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon on Thursday to promote the second season finale of Nikita.
As fans already know, the action-packed series was just renewed for a Third season (returning this October). “We’re so lucky,” Q tells Fallon. “We have the best fans. They brought us back for season three, honestly. It was their support that did it.”
Fans of the show are everywhere and sometimes where Maggie least expects it. She shares a funny story of how a fan approached her at a game. “This guy next to me and looked at me and said, ‘I watch your show! My God, you look so much better on television!'” Jimmy Fallon, ever the gentleman, assured her that she looks gorgeous in person.
Q also shared some details on what to expect on the season finale. “There’s going to be some loss and some big change. Tables are going to be turning a bit. We’re really setting up for the third season.” She also teased the deaths in the finale. “All the cast [members] are not coming back. Someone’s gonna die!” she whispers with a smile on her face.
The Nikita finale is BIG and she doesn’t know how all of it could’ve seemed to fit in just into an hour. “It should be ninety minutes, the finale. It’s huge!”
Don’t miss the explosive season finale tonight at 8|7c on The CW!
