With less than a month to go before the freshman series Witches of East End wraps up its inaugural season, fans can rest assured that the new drama will return for much more witchy goodness.
Lifetime today is moving forward with the series, conjuring up a second season of 13 episodes to air in 2014.
“With its great story telling and amazing cast, Witches of East End is leading a full-blown witch renaissance,” said Lifetime Executive Vice President and General Manger, Rob Sharenow, in a statement.
“The show’s perfect mix of premium execution with content that is in the zeitgeist is drawing new viewers to Lifetime and we’re very excited to be bringing it back for a second season.”
Witches stars Emmy® Award-winner Julia Ormond, Mädchen Amick, Jenna Dewan Tatum and Rachel Boston as a family of witches living in the secluded seaside town of East Haven.
Witches of East End‘s first season will conclude on Sunday, December 15th, at 10pm.
