Over the last 4 seasons of murder mysteries, several characters on “Devious Maids“ have wiped the dust, and gone unto the bleach. This season’s murder mystery involves the infamous Peri Westmore, who was stabbed with her own America’s Choice Award, and Spence left to take the rap. Here are our top 5 theories about the circumstances surrounding Peri’s death:
#5: She came across Shannon sleeping with Ben | Peri came across the wild pair, and ultimately killed as a result of threatening to fire Ben or out of Shannon’s jealous rage. According to Spence, Peri was the nice sister and became an actress while Shannon was green with envy. Shannon hated the Westmores so she killed her sister and had Spence framed for the crime.
#4: Doug | Doug is set to return in the later half of the season. And has been hinted to be a love interest for Carmen this season. Doug had dinner with another handsome devil last season (Sebastian) maybe it foreshadowing his involvment in the Season 4 mystery by the writers? Doug claims to be Carmen’s biggest fan. Perhaps he was Peri’s too and killed her when she found out what a terrible person she was?
#3: The Circle | Peri stumbled into one of their sessions and saw something shocking. Perhaps she saw them sacrificing a human victim and was killed for what she saw?
#2: She saw an object | Firecrackers, a bomb, who knows. According to Ben’s casting call, he “has a secret agenda that could have deadly consequences to the residents of Beverly Hills”. Perhaps he’s plotting an act of terrorism and Peri found out about it?
#1: Kyle and Frances | Perhaps Kyle killed Peri and Frances covered up the crime or vise-versa? Maybe Kyle and Frances met Peri during her time away, and Frances killed Peri because she wasnt for Kyle?
