“Legion” Recap: At the Kid’s Table

In “Chapter 15” of “Legion,” a mysterious ailment affects the team at Division 3, just as Farouk discovers something about the world in which David’s warning came from.

Oxymoron | David once again tele-commutes with Farouk and tells him that after he killed Amy, David is done helping Farouk. Farouk responds by using some pink smoke to travel to the world in which Future Syd resides and tries to intimidate her. Through their conversation, Future Syd seems to imply that David is the reason her future ends in the apocalypse and Farouk is the only one who can stop him.

Distracted | While David goes to talk with Future Syd and tell her that he is not comfortable helping Farouk, Syd, Ptonomy, Clark and Kerry become convinced that Fukuyama is evil and start slaughtering his android women. They confront Fukuyama and when he takes off his basket, we see a normal human face, but Syd and Clark see a monster’s head.

Moral Panic | David arrives and notices tiny black creatures inside Syd and Clark’s minds and pulls them out and squashes them. At that moment, Ptonomy starts vomiting blood and a giant version of the creature bursts out of him and starts tearing up the headquarters. David tracks it down and after humorously trying to reason with the giant black bug, kills it with his mind. The androids take the dying Ptonomy to a forest, where they hook his head up to a tree and he ends up in a room with an elderly black woman knitting. Par for the course in Legion-land.

“Legion” airs Tuesdays on FX.
