Legacies promised the return of Dark Josie in “You Can’t Run from Who You Are” and it was a bit misleading! This week, Lizzie interrogates Finch, Hope’s plan goes horribly wrong and Josie runs into an old enemy.
Inspire Me! | While trying to get Cleo (Omono Okojie) to use her powers of inspiration, Hope (Danielle Rose Russell) gets an idea after Cleo’s eyes glow. Unfortunately, her idea to is to astral project into the prison world where the Necromancer is trapped and strike a deal with him to destroy the prison world and Malivore along with it. Landon (Aria Shahghasemi) tags along, but when they go to the prison world, they find the Necromancer’s mutilated corpse being feasted on by an ugly creature.
Meanwhile, Alaric (Matthew Davis) decides to search Triad’s archives for information on the wish granting artifact, while MG (Quincy Fouse) and Lizzie (Jenny Boyd) must deal with the unconscious Finch (Courtney Bandeko) in a barn. Lizzie demands to know who Finch killed to trigger her werewolf curse, but Finch claims that she’s never killed anyone and that her parents aren’t even werewolves.
Miss Me? | Alaric, Cleo and Kaleb (Chris Lee) find a hidden entrance into Triad’s archives and search for clues on the artifact, while in the prison world, the monster is somehow able to attack Hope and Landon and bite Hope before she sends Landon out to the real world. Lizzie and MG look into Finch’s memories to find out when she first turned into a wolf and find a young Finch in a hospital. At the school, Josie (Kaylee Bryant) drops by to pick up the prism that unlocks her inner thoughts and is greeted by none other than Dark Josie (Also Kaylee Bryant), who tells her that she can’t be happy unless she takes back her magic.
In Finch’s mind, Lizzie and MG witness her young self visiting her grandfather in his hospital bed and he asks her to assist with his overdose so she can trigger her werewolf curse. When they come out of the memory, Finch angrily storms off and calls Lizzie a monster for forcing her to relive the worst moment of her life. Landon gets Josie and Wade (Elijah B. Moore) to help diagnose Hope and Wade figures out via DND that the monster bite will turn Hope into another monster in one hour.
Moral Dilemma Alert | Josie finds a to cure Hope, but it involves using magic and Dark Josie tells Josie that she’ll have to choose between saving Hope or saving herself. She takes her magic back to enchant a dagger that Landon stabs Hope with, saving her life. In the archives, Alaric finds a scrap of parchment of designs for the artifact signed by Leonardo DaVinci! Unfortunately, a failsafe activates that disintegrates the parchment, but Alaric sees a name on it called Project Pandora.
MG advises Lizzie to tell Josie the truth about Finch and let her make up her own mind, but when MG goes to talk to Ethan (Leo Howard), he finds him beaten up in the bar after going on his own to stop a robbery. Wade takes Hope aside and tells her that Landon would never actually stab Hope and he thinks that something is wrong with him…
