The CW network has released a Producers Preview for episode #205 of iZombie, which you can check out below. The installment, titled “Love & Basketball,” is officially described as follows:
THINGS ARE STARTING TO GET REAL — Liv (Rose McIver), Detective Babineaux (Malcolm Goodwin) and Ravi (Rahul Kohli) investigate the mysterious death of a peewee basketball coach. Liv, consumed with overzealous coach brains, gives Major (Robert Buckley) a much needed pep talk. Meanwhile, things get a little crazy when Blaine (David Anders) and Ravi are forced to work together to recreate the cure. Lastly, Detective Babineaux receives a surprise visit from Suzuki’s widow Helen.
“Liv on coach brain is suddenly having a lot of basketball knowledge,” says EP Rob Thomas. “We have fun with Liv giving pep talks, trying very hard to pull Major out of his funk. Coach Liv life coaches Major on a path toward happiness.”
“Last week, Liv and Major made out like bandits,” he continues. “Suddenly Liv is worried about whether they made out too much.”
iZombie “Love & Basketball” was directed by Michael Fields and written by Bob Dearden. The episode airs Tuesday, November 3, at 9pm on The CW.
