The CW network has released a Producers Preview for episode #109f iZombie, which you can check out below. The installment, titled “Patriot Brains,” is officially described as follows:
PERCY DAGGS III (“VERONICA MARS”) GUEST STARS — Liv (Rose McIver) and Clive (Malcolm Goodwin) investigate the mysterious death of a former sniper, Everett (guest star Ronald Patrick Thompson), who has been working as an instructor at a paintball facility. They begin questioning family members including Everett’s ex-wife and her new husband Sean (guest star Percy Daggs III) and realize things are not what they seem. Meanwhile, Major (Robert Buckley) continues to get closer and closer to the truth, and Blaine (David Anders) does the unthinkable.
“Liv is reeling as this episode begins; she’s just learned that everything that her boyfriend, Lowell, has told her about where he gets his brains is not true,” says Executive Producer Rob Thomas. “The two of them have reached a crossroads in their relationship. Liv doesn’t know if she can get past what she finds out about Lowell.”
“The best part of the episode,” adds EP Diane Ruggiero-Wright, “is that Percy [Daggs III] is in our episode!”
iZombie “Patriot Brains” was directed by Guy Bee and written by Robert Forman. The episode airs Tuesday, May 12, at 9pm on The CW.
