Siren‘s mermaids have gone seasons without babies. Their population is dwindling. And with the ocean water being polluted, they’ve pretty much become an endangered species. For their survival, Ryn makes the sacrifice to repopulate her kind.
In an effort to save her people, Ryn decides it’s time. However, if she comes back to Bristol Cove pregnant, Ben and Maddie will have to hide her from the military.

Freeform has released a brand new promo for the second half of the mermaid drama, which you can check out below.
Earlier this season on Siren, we learned from Levi about the violent mating ritual with the mermaids, so it’ll be interesting to actually see how it works.
We predict that Ryn will have a mating session with one of the mer-men, maybe Levi, and then later finds out she’s pregnant. But we think the father of Ryn’s baby will be Ben, whom she had sex with (and Maddie, too!) in the winter finale.
