Camp Stillwater’s anthem invites you take a jump into its eponymous lake in the latest promos which you can view below.
But from what we’ve seen here, here, and especially here, we’re not so sure that’s a good idea.
Freeform has released a trio of promos for its highly anticipated new series Dead of Summer, featuring Elizabeth Mitchell’s Deb leading a group of campers and counselors in the chant.
“Make no mistake, jump in the lake and all your cares will wash, wash away, here at Camp Stillwater.”
The promos also feature never-before-seen footage which also gives viewers a peek into the first few episodes, not just the pilot.
Take a look at the promos below and let us know in the comments if you can’t wait to dive into Dead of Summer!
Set in the late 1980s, school is out for the summer and a sun-drenched season of firsts beckons the counselors at Camp Stillwater, a seemingly idyllic Midwestern summer camp, including first loves, first kisses—and first kills. Stillwater’s dark, ancient mythology awakens, and what was supposed to be a summer of fun soon turns into one of unforgettable scares and evil at every turn.
Dead of Summer premieres Tuesday, June 28, at 9pm on Freeform.
